Overview
The Clinical Services Division is responsible for coordinating and regulating all clinical activities related to patient care within the Hospital. The Division ensures that the Hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities, including surgical instruments, implants, and other essential tools that support world-class orthopaedic and trauma care.
It also oversees the professional practice of medical personnel to maintain the highest standards of service delivery.
The Division is currently headed by Dr. Umar A.I. Chief Consultant Anaesthetist, supported by 38 Consultants across various specialties who work collectively to provide comprehensive and effective healthcare services.
Functions of the Division
The primary function of the Clinical Services Division is to coordinate and supervise the daily operations of all clinical departments and units under its jurisdiction to ensure efficiency, quality, and excellence in patient care.

Objectives
The Clinical Services Division is guided by a clear vision and commitment to:

Provide high-quality and patient-centered care.
Establish the Hospital as the leading Trauma Centre in West Africa.
Train and produce highly skilled orthopaedics and plastic surgeons, post basic Orthopedic and A&E nurses, orthopaedic cast technicians and prosthetics & orthotics.
Conduct innovative research to continuously advance orthopaedic and trauma practices.
